Our Story
Aitchison Law Office is a family-run general law firm that offers services in real estate, family law, wills and estates, business law, and immigration. As Oshawa lawyers, we also represent clients in many areas of litigation, including contract disputes, wrongful dismissals, tax appeals, and other appeals.

We are a father and two daughters, with several decades of combined experience. We understand that for many of our clients, deciding to come to a lawyer is not an easy decision to make. While lawsuits, court appearances, and complex legal documents are comfortable and familiar to us, we know that to many of our clients, they can be confusing and sometimes overwhelming.

1976: James begins legal career in Oshawa, practicing business law, estate planning, wills and estates, real estate and mortgages, and litigation

1994: James moves to the current location in Oshawa Centre Galleria

2000: Daughter Kelly joins the firm as a partner, practicing family law, civil litigation, wills and estates, and real estate and mortgages

2003: After practicing in California, daughter Laurie comes back to Ontario to join the firm and practices real estate, immigration, and civil litigation
